The Oscars have officially been replaced by ConnorEatsPants' "Pantsies"
After the overwhelming success of the Pantsies, The Oscars have officially conceded their spot
Unless you've been living under a rock. the ConnorEatsPantsies, or "Pantsies" for short, has become the most successful award show in the internet's history. With their most recent show for the 2020 year happening yesterday, viewership numbers reached an all-time high. Due to the Pantsies' success, David Rubin, the president of The Oscars, made a statement this morning surrendering the prime-time television spot to Connor.
The scuffed nature of the Pantsies is what the people want most. Gone are the days of actually well-produced award shows
With the big news dropping, we wanted to get a direct quote from the host and founded of the Pantsies themselves: ConnorEatsPants. We reached out and this is what he had to say:
"I always knew the Pantsies were destined for greatness. The Oscars are old and outdated, no one cares what George Clooney has to say about current events... but everyone cares what Neekolul did on her stream this year. It's an easy choice" - Connor
We are very excited to see how big the ConnorEatsPantsies will get over the years and honestly hope it takes over every other award show.
