Oprah Winfrey's TV Network picks up "The Real Housewives of Twitch" podcast for 2 seasons
Updated: Oct 3, 2020
Popular new podcast "The Real Housewives of Twitch", a weekly show hosted by a powerhouse female cast, has been picked up by the O.W.N to premier on broadcast television for 2 seasons.

Oprah Winfrey is a massive Loltyler1 and Macaiyla fan. When she saw Macaiyla finally creating big Twitch content again, the decision to pick up the show was an easy choice
Over the past several years, Twitch has become more and more popular with the general public to the point where it's essentially a household name. If last night's appearance of David Dobrik doing his first live stream playing Call of Duty at 10 fps didn't solidify Twitch's mainstream transition, then surely TimTheTatMan's 5 day clout-off extravaganza with the Fall Guys Twitter rep should sway you. While anyone with a Chatterino supporter badge would tell you how awful this change has been, an influx of grey names on the platform is not a completely bad thing. More new viewers means increased opportunities for creators to branch out into new territories without risking financial downfall.
The Real Housewives of Twitch podcast was a perfect candidate for pulling big numbers because its a powerhouse female cast getting drunk and shit talking their significant others who happen to be some of the biggest streamers on the platform. If there's something Twitch viewers love more than anything, it's seeing their favorite streamers get verbally demoralized by other streamers, which usually occurs about 3 White Claws into the show. Oprah saw the first two Real Housewives streams and knew this cast was destined for more than Kreygasm and HotPokket spam, so she worked with her producers to schedule 2 seasons worth of O.W.N slots for the podcast.

"The female empowerment I feel when watching The Real Housewives podcast is extraordinary. With one snap of a finger these ladies could end the careers of the biggest Twitch streamers, yet they choose to discuss topics like what the hardest drug they've taken is. That sort of self-restraint takes true composure." - Oprah Winfrey
When Oprah opened the discussion to her producers about signing on The Real Housewives podcast, the entire Oprah Winfrey Network staff held an emergency round-table meeting. While Oprah's gut decision was with the Housewives, two other options were brought into consideration: Signing Trainwreck's "Scuffed Podcast" or reviving Asmongold's "AllCraft" World of Warcraft podcast. While we didn't receive an official explanation to why The Real Housewives podcast ultimately won the decision, we're sure there was very good back-and-forth discussion between which of the 3 podcasts fit the Oprah Winfrey Network demographic best.
We asked Oprah to rank the casts' significant others by most-favorite, and her decision was: (1) Tyler1, (2) Nmplol, (3) Ludwig, and (4) XQC. We informed her there was one person missing and she replied "Oh, I'm aware"
According to our sources, the cast of The Real Housewives podcast have been ecstatic over this news and were eager to share across their social medias. Malena was especially excited to share some good news on her social medias since a large portion of her day consists of stopping Nick, Soda, and Greek from posting absurd shit to their own socials. The crew has already started recording future episodes of The Real Housewives podcast, including an episode that features Oprah. We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek.
